The cij summer school 2010 is for anyone who needs to upgrade their investigative skills and techniques. Topics covered include:

- private and public finance
- protecting sources
- using the Freedom of Information Act
- computer assisted reporting (CAR) techniques
- advanced internet research including security and anonymity
- undercover reporting
- libel and privacy law

In addition to our regular sessions, this year the school will focus on investigating scientific and pseudo-scientific claims made by the pharmaceuticals, academics, governments and NGOs on issues ranging from health to climate change, from GM crops to nuclear energy.

The school is open to all.
